DALLIN Watmore is set to make his return to the Dublin City Football Club.
The Irishman has returned to training this week after missing last week’s training session in England with a calf injury.
The 27-year-old has played all of the club’s last seven matches and will take the field for the first time when the club face the Shire of Dun Laoghaire in a Europa League clash on Thursday night.
Watmore, who joined the club in the summer of 2015, has scored seven goals this term and has also contributed four assists.
His goals have come in a variety of positions and his form has seen him earn praise from manager Michael Lowry.
The Republic of Ireland international is one of the more talented players in the league and has been named in a number of European squads, including the European Under-21s, as well as playing in the EFL Cup and FA Youth Cup.
Wattmore is also the club captain, having made his debut for the club during last season’s Europa League play-off semi-final.
He made his return from injury last week with a knee injury and has made a number on the ball.
